How to celebrate christmas in barcelona

La navidad es una época perfecta para visitar Barcelona

As in other European cities, Christmas is a great time to visit Barcelona. The streets are dressed up with lights, restaurants offer special gastronomical proposals to celebrate the arrival of the new year and the city is full of activities to enjoy a well-deserved vacation. We like to celebrate it with our loved ones so we propose all kinds of activities so that you can enjoy a unique Christmas in our beloved city.

Visit the Santa Llúcia market and walk around the old town

Strolling through the city center means finding Christmas traditions by the town hall (Plaza Sant Jaume), discovering unique shops hidden among the narrow streets, getting surprised by the small figures done and sold by artisans in the Santa Llúcia Market and ending the afternoon drinking chocolate with churros at La Pallaresa coffee.

Concerts

Saying goodbye to 2017 with a concert is also a great opportunity that we like to take advantage of. We propose to visit the Auditori with its New Year concert, the Swan Lake performance on December 30th or the Liceo with Johann Strauss on the 26th. A unique opportunity to visit two emblematic buildings with a top billboard.

Christmas and New Years eve dinner at the Omm hotel

One of the coolest hotels in Barcelona offers us two menus made for these holidays. One for December 25th and 26th and another one for New Year’s Eve. In all of them we find the essence of Roca Moo, recipes always using the creativity and freshness of the entire kitchen team with seasonal products and cutting-edge techniques, thinking about the experience that the guest is looking for. Would you like to join us? Contact us via info@mimusa.pro and we will make a reservation of your table.

Christmas work dinner at a unique place

With a very diverse portfolio of options for all types of public, we are committed to organize a very special Christmas dinner for you and your team / company. From traditional proposals framed in a historical building in our city to team building activities that end with a meal in the middle of nature. We look for customization and, above all, to help you delegate everything that becomes the organization and development of the event. Discover more by clicking here!

Ski trip

Only an hour and a half away from the city we are welcomed by the Catalan Pyrenees with luxury accommodation to spend a few days in the mountains. If you stay in Barcelona for more than a weekend, we recommend you take a break and sleep in la Cerdanya where you can practice winter sports and first class local proposals!

SPA urbano

Created as an oasis of calm in the midst of the city, the Mandarin Hotel spa is arguably the most serene space in the centre of Barcelona. Enjoying a peaceful location at the base of the hotel, it is a place in which you can rebalance the needs of your body, mind and soul. There are therapists for all kinds of treatments that include manicures, pedicures and revitalizing massages. Your are on holidays so spend a day off for yourself!
