All neighborhoods in Barcelona have their charm, however, the districts of El Borne and La Barceloneta stand out especially for their bohemian character, their cosmopolitan atmosphere and their diversity of people. Accompanied by our expert guide, we will begin the tour walking the narrow pedestrian streets of El Borne, an old merchants, artisans and seamen neighborhood considered today as the most cool and trendy neighborhood in the city. Along the route we will discover fashion boutiques, art galleries, artists’ studios, gourmet shops… We will also visit the church of Santa María del Mar, one of the most spectacular examples of Gothic architecture. Then we will walk to the neighborhood of La Barceloneta, an old fishing district located in front of the sea, undoubtedly the area with more Mediterranean flavor of the city. It will be pleasant to stroll through its narrow streets, observe its colorful buildings, discover its food market… and get to the beach, from where we will take a “vermut” (local drink) while contemplating the maritime façade of Barcelona.
