This itinerary is ideal for those looking to combine a stay in the attractive city of Barcelona and another in one of the most beautiful and charming regions of Spain, the Costa Brava – Empordà. We will have tapas in Barcelona’s Gothic Quarter, visit the most emblematic buildings of Gaudí, get to know Dali’s work, discover the Empordà by land, sea and air… Whether you are a lover of history, art, gastronomy and wine, nature, sports, the sea… we will adapt the itinerary to your preferences. The Costa Brava – Empordà will surprise you and possibly will captivate you.


    • You will sail from l’Estartit to Cadaqués (the town of Dalí) on a 18 meters sailboat
    • You will fly over landscapes of fields, rivers and towns in a hot air balloon or a light airplane

Day 1: Barcelona

Arrival – At the appointed time

Arrival in Barcelona and transfer by private vehicle to the hotel. Time to settle in.

Afternoon – Tapas & Wine Tour

In the afternoon we will carry out a tapas tour along one of the most historic neighborhoods of the city. During the tour we will visit some of the most unique bars to taste these little creations accompanied by fine wines. We will be accompanied by a gastronomic expert who will explain us many curiosities of the Mediterranean cuisine and the history of tapas. Between bar and bar, we will walk through the streets of the historic center of Barcelona, where our guide will be revealing us the secrets and stories of the history of the city.

Day 2: Barcelona

Morning – Essential Barcelona Tour

During this morning we will carry out a tour along the most essential Barcelona. We will visit the main attractions of the city such as the Sagrada Familia, the Gothic Quarter or the mountain of Montjuïc. An ideal tour to take a first impression of Barcelona, its culture, its lifestyle and its history. We may end up having lunch at a restaurant specialized in fish, seafood and rice in front of the Port Vell.

Afternoon –Free at leisure

Free afternoon to continue discovering Barcelona. We will be able to visit one of its museums internationally recognized, such as the Picasso Museum or the MACBA (Barcelona Museum of Contemporary Art), stroll through the bohemian Borne neighborhood, go shopping in the exclusive Paseo de Gracia or walk along the Barceloneta beach. If we wish we may also be able to relax in the SPA of our hotel.

Day 3: Barcelona / Costa Brava

Morning – Trip to el Empordà / Costa Brava

After breakfast, we will meet with our private driver at the door of our hotel. We will travel 1h 30 mins to reach our destination, the Costa Brava – Empordà.

Rest of the day – Free at leisure

We will stay in a boutique hotel by the sea or in a medieval village. We will have free time to enjoy the beach or pool, have lunch and relax. During the afternoon, we will go for a walk or enjoy a bike ride to explore the surroundings of the hotel and its beautiful landscapes.

Day 4: Costa Brava

Morning – Empordà medieval villages

We will take a tour through the villages of Monells, Peratallada, Pals… small medieval villages which have a great architectural beauty and keep several centuries of history within its narrow streets and stone buildings. By midmorning we will have the opportunity to try the “recuit”, cottage cheese very appreciated by locals that is only produced in this region. We will enjoy lunch at a regional restaurant (local cuisine).

Afternoon (Option 1) – Free at leisure

We will be able to enjoy a free afternoon to continue exploring the region, its coastal villages and beaches with our private driver.

Afternoon (Option 2) – Visit to Girona and dinner at El Celler Can Roca

Today we will visit Girona and Figueres, two interesting cities to the north of Barcelona. Girona is considered one of the cities with more history and charm of Spain. We will stroll through the historic center and the most picturesque areas such as the ancient walls or the Jewish Quarter. We will also visit the Cathedral, which dates from the eleventh century and whose interior includes the widest Gothic nave in the world. After the walking tour, we will be able to enjoy dinner at El Celler de Can Roca, a 3 Michelin stars considered as the best restaurant in the world. After dinner, our driver will take us back to the hotel.

Day 5: Costa Brava

Morning – Boat ride along the Costa Brava

We will devote part of the day to discover the Costa Brava in a special way, from the sea on a sailboat. We will spend several hours sailing through some of the most beautiful landscapes of the Mediterranean coast. We will discover small coves of clear waters, where we will be able to swim and snorkel to observe the seabed. At noon, our captain will cook a “paella” (on board) made with fresh quality products that we will taste accompanied with a very fresh white wine. After enjoying lunch and relaxing in the sun, we will return to the port.

Afternoon – Free at leisure

During navigation, and on our way back to the hotel, we will pass Begur, a village with a lot of charm. We will stroll through the streets, visit some of their little craft shops or enjoy an ice cream while we contemplate the local environment.

Day 6: Costa Brava

Full day – Salvador Dalí Tour

Who does not know Salvador Dalí? Today we will discover some of the most important places in the life of the genius and artist. We will visit Púbol, where we can find the castle that Dalí gave to Gala (his mistress, wife, muse, friend…), the Theatre – Museum Salvador Dalí in Figueres, considered the greatest work of surrealism in the world and where we can find various works of the artist. We will also visit Cadaqués and Port Lligat, coastal towns with a special charm where Dalí lived and developed much of his work. During the tour, we will contemplate stunning natural landscapes.

Day 7: Costa Brava / OPTIONS

Morning (Option 1) – Family owned winery visit

The region of the Costa Brava – Empordà has several wineries, all of them family wineries and small. During the morning we will be able to visit together with an expert sommelier one of the most unique wineries. A great opportunity to discover its vineyards, its cellar and to taste the wines they produce.

Morning (Option 2) – Horse ride

We will be able to carry out a horse ride along some of the most impressive landscapes of the region and ride between fields, through forests, by the shore of the beach…

Morning (Option 3) – Small plane flight

We will be able to fly over the region in a two-seater plane and enjoy incredible views of the coast and the towns. An experience of a lifetime!

Afternoon – Trip back to Barcelona

After breakfast, we will meet with our private driver at the door of our hotel. We will travel 1h 30 mins to reach our hotel in Barcelona.

Day 8: Costa Brava / Barcelona

At the appointed time – Private transfer to the airport
