Medieval villages and the best beaches
We will leave from Barcelona and head to the region of La Costa Brava & Empordà, located 1 hour and 20 minutes north of Barcelona and also known as the Catalan Tuscany. We will start the day visiting Púbol, a small village where we’ll find the castle that Dalí built for his beloved Gala. Next, we will head to the area known as “l’Empordanet” and visit the medieval villages of Pals and Peratallada, where we will stroll through the small streets while we discover the history and charm of its churches and stone architecture. Then we will enjoy lunch in the coastal towns of Sa Tuna, Calella or Aiguablava… where besides eating good fresh fish or a “paella” by the sea, we will be able to take a refreshing swim in the clean and refreshing waters of La Costa Brava. After lunch we will be able to take a quite walk around the villages of Calella or Begur and visit interesting shops selling ceramics, handicrafts or local products, have a coffee in the town square while contemplating the local atmosphere… In mid-afternoon we will return to Barcelona.
