DAY BY DAY ITINERARY
DAY 1: BARCELONA
Arrival / Panoramic City Tour
Arrival in Barcelona and private transfer to the hotel. In the afternoon, accompanied by our local guide and our driver, we will carry out a tour of the most essential Barcelona. We will visit some of the main attractions of the city, ideal to get a first impression of Barcelona, its culture, its lifestyle and its history.
DAY 2: BARCELONA
Gaudí & Modernism Tour / Tapas & Wine Tour
This morning we will meet our guide and our driver in the hotel lobby and we will immerse in Modernism and the figure of Antoni Gaudí. We will visit two of the most important monuments of the great Catalan architect: La Pedrera and Park Güell. We will also pass by other modernist buildings designed by prominent architects such as Lluís Domenech i Montaner or Josep Puig i Cadafalch. In the afternoon, our expert guide in wines and gastronomy will pick us up at the hotel for a tapas and wine tour that will not leave us indifferent. We will visit really unique bars and restaurants where we will taste wines and high quality products.
DAY 3: BARCELONA
Excursion to Montserrat
Accompanied by our guide and our driver today we will travel outside the city to visit one of the most admired places in Catalonia, the natural park of the mountain of Montserrat. Besides letting ourselves be surprised by the unique shapes of its silhouette and taking a walk along a beautiful path from which to contemplate beautiful panoramic views, we will visit the monastery and the basilica to witness the singing of the Montserrat choir, one of the oldest children’s choirs of Europe. After Montserrat, we will head to the Penedés wine region. We will visit and have lunch in one of the most charming family wineries in the region. Return to Barcelona and rest of the day free to continue discovering the city.
DAY 4: BARCELONA > COSTA BRAVA
Trip to the Costa Brava / Medieval Towns Tour
After breakfast, today we will travel to the region of the Costa Brava – Empordà to enjoy a few days of relaxation, culture, nature and good gastronomy. Upon arrival, we will be welcome by the hotel team. Once settled and after enjoying a time of rest to refresh ourselves in the pool, have a walk, etc. we will have lunch. . In the afternoon, leaving from the hotel and together with our expert guide, we will carry out an electric bike tour. Besides contemplating beautiful landscapes and rice fields, we will visit some of the medieval villages of the region, such as Peratallada and Pals, considered some of the most beautiful villages in Spain.
DAY 5: COSTA BRAVA
Boat Ride / Relaxing afternoon and author dinner
Today we will visit the Costa Brava in the best possible way, from the sea sailing aboard a sailboat or motorboat. In addition to discovering some of the most beautiful coves and beaches in the region we will bathe in its transparent waters, snorkel and sunbathe. The captain will take care of everything. We will have lunch in a restaurant specialized in rice and fish overlooking the sea. This afternoon – evening we will have dinner in a restaurant located in an old Catalan-style farmhouse. If we are lucky we will enjoy live music.
DAY 6: COSTA BRAVA
Salvador Dalí Tour and visit to Girona
This morning we will visit together with an expert guide the castle that the genius and artist Salvador Dalí build to his beloved Gala, located in the medieval town of Púbol. During the visit we will learn about the artist’s life and contemplate some of his works. Then we will go to Girona, the capital of the region and without a doubt, one of the most beautiful cities in Spain. Its cathedral and its old town will not leave us indifferent. Internationally it is recognized, among other things, for being the place where the famous restaurant Celler de Can Roca is located and recently also for having been the scene of the 7th season of Game of Thrones. In the afternoon, we will rest at the hotel, take a horseback riding or participate in a pottery workshop.
DAY 7: COSTA BRAVA > BARCELONA
The end of the trip
At the agreed time, our driver will pick us up at the hotel and we will return to Barcelona. End of the trip.
