If we wish we may also be able to relax in the SPA of our hotel.

Day 3: Barcelona

Today we will visit Girona and Figueres, two interesting cities to the north of Barcelona. Girona is considered one of the cities with more history and charm of Spain. We will also visit the Cathedral, which dates from the eleventh century and whose interior includes the widest Gothic nave in the world. After visiting Girona, we will go to Figueres, city where we can find the fascinating Dalí Theatre-Museum, the largest surrealistic object in the world. The museum is already a work of art in itself, but also houses many famous works by Dalí, one of the most iconic painters of the twentieth century. Lunch will be at a typical Catalan house.

Full day (Option 2) – Winery of author visit

This morning we will visit a family owned winery located in the middle of a very special natural environment. Upon arrival we will walk through the vineyards, which will motivate us to learn more about the history and importance of wine in Catalonia. We will see the old winery (which still produces some of the current wines) and the modern one (considered one of the most innovative in the region). After the walk we will taste some white, red and rosé wines in the old dining room of the winery, where we will also enjoy a typically Catalan lunch.
