With this gastronomic program of 6 days and 5 nights, besides visiting the most interesting of Barcelona, its culture, its history or its architecture, we want you to get to know and savor Barcelona through the most singular gastronomic proposals: visiting a winery of author, enjoying a wine and cheese tasting in a surprising place, having dinner at Michelin-starred restaurants… among many other proposals. Arrival – At the appointed time
Arrival in Barcelona and transfer by private vehicle to the hotel. Time to settle in.
Afternoon – Free at leisure
We suggest strolling along the elegant Paseo de Gracia Avenue to have a first contact with the city.
Night – Dinner at “La Torre de Altamar”
We will have dinner at an amazing restaurant located 75m above sea level where we can enjoy some of the best views of the city while tasting dishes that won’t leave us indifferent. Author cuisine, Mediterranean style.
Morning – Essential Barcelona Tour
During this morning we will carry out a tour along the most essential Barcelona. We will visit the main attractions of the city such as the Sagrada Familia, the Gothic Quarter or the mountain of Montjuïc. An ideal tour to take a first impression of Barcelona, its culture, its lifestyle and its history.
Lunch – Restaurant specialized in “paellas” and fish
After the tour, we will head to a traditional restaurant located in front of the port to discover some of the best “paellas”, fish and seafood of Barcelona, all this accompanied by fine white or red wine or Catalan champagne.

Night – Tapas & Wine Tour
In the afternoon we will carry out a tapas tour along one of the most historic neighborhoods of the city. During the tour we will visit some of the most unique bars to taste these little creations accompanied by fine wines. We will be accompanied by a gastronomic expert who will explain us many curiosities of the Mediterranean cuisine and the history of tapas. Between bar and bar, we will walk through the streets of the historic center of Barcelona, where our guide will be revealing us the secrets and stories of the history of the city.
Morning & Lunch – Winery of Author visit
Wine is an essential element to understand the Spanish and Catalan culture and gastronomy… that’s why we will dedicate the morning to discover its origins and many of its secrets. We will head to a small and surprising wine cellar with over 700 years of history. There we will walk through the vineyards and discover the old cellar (where still some wines are produced) and the modern one (considered one of the most innovative in the region). We will learn about wine and end up tasting the best reds, whites and rosés that they themselves produce while we enjoy a typical Catalan lunch, all in a unique setting surrounded by nature and vineyards. A sommelier will accompany us throughout the visit.

Night – Dinner at a Michelin-starred restaurant
Ready to live an authentic experience for the 5 senses? Barcelona has a great gastronomic offer, but only the best and most innovative chefs in the city have been awarded Michelin Stars. Tonight we will taste a great festival menu consisting of 14 dishes that will surprise us at all levels. Each dish will be paired with a glass of wine especially selected.
Morning & Lunch – Boqueria Market visit & Show Cooking
Today we will discover which are the bases of the Mediterranean gastronomy and we will learn to prepare some of the tastiest recipes. From our hotel and accompanied by a chef, we will head to La Boqueria Market – inaugurated in 1836, is the most emblematic of the city -. During the visit to the market, the chef will show us the most representative products of the local gastronomy while he provides us interesting information about its origin and uses.
After the visit to the market, and always accompanied by our chef, we will head to a cozy cooking showroom located in a historical building where we will carry out the show cooking. The chef will teach us all the steps of how to prepare some of the most traditional recipes (at the beginning of the session we can choose between different options). Besides observing, we will also participate in the preparation of the dishes that we will later taste, which will be combined with appropriate wines for each recipe.
Afternoon – Delicatessen Shops Tour
After the show cooking and taking advantage that we are in the city center, we will take a walking tour, accompanied by a gastronomic guide, which will show us some of the most interesting gastronomic and gourmet shops in Barcelona. We will visit shops specialized in Catalan craft products, gourmet shops where you can find the best Iberico ham or 200 types of cheese, chocolate shops with more than 100 years old, shops specialized in olive oils… and some of the favourite shops of Ferran Adrià, and other great chefs. We will be able to taste and buy unique products, definitely the best souvenir from a trip.

For those who want to take advantage of this day to visit some of the most beautiful regions of Catalonia (located just 1h 30mins from Barcelona) we will suggest the following full day activities:
Full day (Option 1) – Visit Girona and lunch in El Celler de Can Roca
Girona is a small city located 1 hour north of Barcelona. It is considered one of the most historic and charming cities in Spain, among which stand out its well-preserved Roman walls, its Jewish quarter, its Arabic Baths and its spectacular Cathedral. Accompanied by a local guide we will take a walking tour around the corners of this city. After the walk, we will have the opportunity to enjoy lunch at El Celler de Can Roca, considered the best restaurant in the world, which has 3 Michelin stars. Pitu, one of the Roca brothers, will show us the fascinating wine cellar, a place where we can find many of the best wines in the world. An unforgettable experience for the senses.
Full day (Option 2) – Empordà & Costa Brava Tour
L’Empordà is an exclusive area located to the north of Barcelona, known for its amazing landscapes, for its small medieval villages and for being the region where Salvador Dali lived and developed part of his work. During the visit, accompanied by our guide, we will discover some of the most surprising medieval villages of the region, such as Pals, Begur or Peratallada. We will enjoy lunch in a medieval castle or in a lighthouse with stunning views of the Mediterranean. In the afternoon we will visit the fishing village of Calella, which stands out for its coastal architecture, for its tiny artisan shops selling local crafts and for its Mediterranean essence.
