BARCELONA, MADRID & SEVILLE

During this trip we will visit three of the most fascinating cities in Spain: Barcelona, Sevilla and Madrid. A journey in which we will dive into the culture, history, traditions, lifestyle and cuisine of each of the places that we will visit. We will have tapas in Barcelona’s Gothic Quarter, visit the most emblematic buildings of Gaudí, live an authentic flamenco show, stroll by the “Madrid de los Austrias”, discover Toledo, the ancient capital of Spain… always accompanied by the best guides that will make us feel like locals. We will stay in boutique hotels located in the best areas of each city.

Day 1: Barcelona

Arrival – At the appointed time

Arrival in Barcelona and transfer by private vehicle to the hotel. Time to settle in.

Afternoon – Tapas & Wine Tour

In the afternoon we will carry out a tapas tour along one of the most historic neighbourhoods of the city. During the tour we will visit some of the most unique bars to taste these little creations accompanied by fine wines. We will be accompanied by a gastronomic expert who will explain us many curiosities of the Mediterranean cuisine and the history of tapas. Between bar and bar, we will walk through the streets of the historic center of Barcelona, where our guide will be revealing us the secrets and stories of the history of the city.

Day 2: Barcelona

Morning – Essential Barcelona Tour

During this morning we will carry out a tour along the most essential Barcelona. We will visit the main attractions of the city such as the Sagrada Familia, the Gothic Quarter or the mountain of Montjuïc. An ideal tour to take a first impression of Barcelona, its culture, its lifestyle and its history. We may end up having lunch at a restaurant specialized in fish, seafood and rice in front of the Port Vell.

Afternoon – Free at leasure

Free afternoon to continue discovering Barcelona. We will be able to visit one of its museums internationally recognized, such as the Picasso Museum or the MACBA (Barcelona Museum of Contemporary Art), stroll through the bohemian Borne neighbourhood, go shopping in the exclusive Paseo de Gracia or walk along the Barceloneta beach. If we wish we may also be able to relax in the SPA of our hotel.

Day 3: Barcelona / Sevilla

Morning – Trip to Sevilla

After breakfast, we will travel by private car to Barcelona’s airport. We will fly to Sevilla, flight that lasts less than two hours. At Sevilla’s airport our private driver will be waiting for us to take us to our hotel.

Afternoon and night – Boat ride, Flamenco Show & Tapas Tour

In the afternoon, once already installed at our hotel in the centre of Sevilla, we will carry a tour by boat along the River Guadalquivir. We will enjoy beautiful views of Sevilla and take a glass of wine while our guide explains us the interesting history of the river in the old days. After the boat ride, we will assist to what is probably the best flamenco show in Sevilla. After the show, and with the rhythm in the body, we will go for tapas. During the tapas tour we will visit some of the most authentic places in town. Only this way we will be able to feel like a Sevillian.

Day 4: Sevilla

Morning – Sevilla Monumental Tour

This morning we will take an interesting walking tour around the centre of Sevilla. We will visit the Santa Cruz neighbourhood and the Old Jewish quarter. We will enter the great cathedral of Sevilla, world’s largest Gothic cathedral and place where we can find the tomb of Christopher Columbus. We will also visit the Alcázar of Sevilla and its beautiful gardens.

Afternoon (optional activity) – Lunch and visit to a brave bulls farm

After the morning private tour, we will be able to carry out a visit to a brave bulls farm located on the outskirts of Sevilla. Upon arrival at the farm, we will be received and served a typical Andalusian lunch. After lunch we will take tour by 4×4 through the fields where the brave bulls pasture. By mid-afternoon, return to Sevilla.

Day 5: Sevilla / Madrid

Morning – Trip to Madrid

After breakfast, private transfer to Santa Justa train station. We will take the high speed train (AVE), which covers the route Sevilla – Madrid in two hours and twenty minutes.

Afternoon – Madrid Panoramic City Tour

In the afternoon, once installed at our hotel in Madrid, we will take a panoramic tour. We will visit the most essential places of the capital of Spain: the Royal Palace, the Cibeles and Neptuno fountains, Puerta de Alcalá, Plaza de Oriente or the Santiago Bernabeu Stadium. Definitely the best way to know how much Madrid has to offer its visitors. We will be able to finish the tour in Plaza de Santa Ana, where we can find modern Mediterranean style restaurants or the famous market of San Miguel, where you can taste authentic gourmet products.

Day 6: Madrid

Morning – Toledo Toledo

Today we will travel to the beautiful city of Toledo, imperial capital of Spain and declared National Heritage by UNESCO. We will take a walking tour of Toledo that will include the magnificent Cathedral of Santa María, the historical Synagogue of El Transito and The Burial of the Count of Orgaz painted by El Greco. After the tour we will return to Madrid, where we will suggest having lunch in a typical Madrid tavern and this way taste the traditional Madrid “cocido”.

Afternoon -Free at leasure

We will have the afternoon free to visit the masterpieces of the Prado Museum, shopping in the Salamanca district or simply enjoy a relaxing walk through the Parque del Retiro.

Day 7: Madrid

At the appointed time – Private transfer to the airport and back home
